![]() Posting this in case anyone else got a similar unexpected alert. Possibly a past alert that had been stuck somehow and delivered weeks after it was sent. I'm thinking this is a glitch on Apple's side of things. Sometime around the introduction of iOS15 I noticed that find my phone will no longer play the alert sound when trying to find a device on silent mode. I have two-factor authentication and a very complex password. Find My Phone Alert & No Sound When On Silent. There were no messages indicating a new computer / device had logged-in with my Apple ID. Once question, when you say you share your location with your family, do you have Family Sharing enabled, or are you sharing in some.
